Great city plan by Swiss Architect Corbusier in 1950 came alive by casual n offbeat effort of Mr Neck Chand since 1967 as Road Inspector who went on collecting n assembling broken colord crockery, debris of old city, plastic pcs in his odd hours to create this brilliance. Its an aweinsiring art. Takes 2days to assimilate in details. No awards r... More

This unique garden was created by Mr. Nek Chand who used to travel around Chandigarh on his bicycle & collect unused, waste items, articles like broken chinaware, soft drink bottle crown caps, broken bangles & even toilet seats ... He then used his creativity and converted these waste items into a marvelous collection of statues, rock icons, waterfalls, sculptures etc.... More

A different experience. You can marvel the architecture and the suspense it throws here and there. A very unique experience. Don't miss. Initially we were irritated with the lack of sign boards but it had become a fun to search for the exits from each section.

A very interesting and innovative concept. Here everything was seems to be made of rocks... including trees, rivers, birds etc. Though small but could easily take atleast 2 to 3 hours of time to closely watch and understand the beauty of the Garden. Must Visit...

The so-called garden then becomes a semi theme park, with an artificial waterfall, huge... More
