An amazing restoration done by the Taj. It's spectacular. A meal there could set you back a couple of grand but boy is it worth it! More

You need to make a booking before you can enter the palace.. We prebooked ourselves for dinner at the palace (we were already staying at the Taj Banjara and this too is a Taj Property) but when we got the gates the staff wouldnt allow us in! They refused to check with their booking staff and were high-handed in their... More

Falaknuma Palace has been converted into a Hotel and is being run by Taj Group. Its greatest advantage is its location, on a hillock of about 2000 feet height over the city of Hyderabad. It has been very well planned and executed like most palaces of the 19th century. The mosaic and marbles are all from Italy. Stained glass paintings... More

If I have have my facts straight, the name Falaknuma means heaven on Earth...well there is no other way to describe the sublime experience of s stay at this hotel! It far exceeds any of the other Taj hotels we stayed in on this particular trip and I would rate it as a top life time experience even for very... More

The palace has been taken over by the Taj hotel group and they have spared no expense in restoring it. Most notable is the 101 person dining table. If you go in the evening you can have cocktails on the veranda overlooking the city lights. The restaurants are good but pricey and good for special occasions More

We ate at the Italian restaurant which wasn't very Italian (more of a French style). Food was good, but overpriced. More

food at the Italian restaurant is not worth it. If you are not staying there, they wont let you in. You have to eat, try to eat at the Indian -everything was booked so we had to go to the Italian one. Place is a dream. Classy pashminas at the shop -European prices. More
