We did a boat trip here and snorkelled with the fish. we were the only boat which meant we had the place to ourselves. loads of marine life and colourful corals to see.
We picked a windy day to go to Paradise Island and that turned out to be a huge mistake. It's a pretty expensive, whole day trip and it was really cold on the boat - so cold I chickened out and didn't go snorkling. In fact, my whole family decided not to get into the water, for which our guide...

great relaxing spot, shame about the snorkling not much new to see that ya cant see from your local beach
Booked through Thomas Cook/Bright Sky Travel. Cost £117 for two. This excursion was not the advertised trip on the printed list but offered as an alternative when booking. I liked the idea of returning late in the day to watch the sunset. The day started
9 am with coach to Hurghada Marina. We were met by our guide for the...

Excellent day trip, great boat ride, lunch buffet and watching the sunset at dusk. Good value and a fantastic day out from the pick up at the hotel, the smooth sea trip out for an hour on the Red Sea and the fantastic climate on a clean sandy beach.
Really loved this island, it was a piece of paradise, great lunch, had a fish pedicure, and culled in the sun. A must on any trip to hurghurda.

We booked through our Thomas Cook rep, even though we could have paid slightly less with local people, but we feel we received better service doing it this way. The lunch was delicious, the boat trip for snorkelling fantastic, and the beach was pure...

Unfortunately it was very windy and quite rough so we went out in the afternoon to snorkel off a reef but the water was very choppy so we stayed in the boat. In hindsight we would have been better staying on the island. A great treat was on the way back to Hurghada we saw a family of dolphins, 2...
