Diving or snorkeling in Dahab is a must! Depending on the time of day or the weather, that can limit what sights are available to you. But a day at the Blue Hole or Lighthouse is never wasted! Why not search Bannerfish Bay for seahorses or have a shallow dive at the untarnished Islands dive site? The coral reefs here... More

Best place we have visited in Egypt. The blue hole is a fantastic place to dive and snorkel. Dahab is 50 miles north of Sharm but a place well worth going to avoid the nightlife etc

I have never snorkelled on a reef before so cant compare however this went way beyond my expectations. Eel Gardens is the perfect spot. Quiet, restaurants to leave dry stuff at, short paddle or wade out to a canyon gap then through to the reef wall. Turning left takes you to the eels which can easily be seen from the... More

I visited Dahab in April to complete my PADI scuba diving course as I wanted some warm clear water to dive in. Altogether I completed 12 dives in the area and the sites I dived were Blue Hole, Canyon, Eel Garden, Lighthouse, Bannerfish Bay, Golden Blocks, Islands, Moray Gardens and Um Sid. All of these sites provided places where you... More

Just 20 meters far from the beach the coral reef starts. Snorkeling around you will see many colored fish and corals. Unfortunately partly destroyed, but still enjoyable.

You can't go home without feeling part of this underwater Wonder world! The vibrant colours, the thoughts of what colours will be next and the wondering how big will they be. The clams with brilliant blue occupants were unbelievable.

We went on a glass-bottom boat - twice, we loved it. Took the family the second time and we were able to snorkel from the boat..that was a wonderful experience...

Brilliant house reef with a wide variety of fish and corals. Easy to access the water via a pontoon and steps - water was quite cold, some snorklers wore short wetsuits. Would recommend for all abilities of swimmers as the majority of fish can be seen a few metres from the steps.
