Large park ,beach ,amusements including skateboarding,go-karting. A very enjoyable afternoon shopping, drinking coffee and just watching people enjoying themselves.

For my husband who lived in Dalian for more than 3 yrs, this is his spot. Why? a park in the beach, overwhelming people either dancing / exercising, you can go bunjee jumping, ride a speed boat, drink and be merry with nearest pubs and best of all bum around the shoreline.

Park is huge. It is free to enter. There are many, many people (walking, skateboarding, bicycling) everywhere. There were restroom facilities. There were shops with cheap trinkets for purchase. There were many people flying kites the day we visited. I would go back just so I could watch the people. It was a good experience to interact with the people.

It is well-maintained and nice to see families together, people walking their adorable dogs for a walk and the older citizens doing their activites at the open area.
