Probably a must do trip if you go to Beihai..otherwise why go? A worthwhile trip to an offshore island with some organised walking and sight seeing

Beautiful volcanic island with rich flora and a beautiful beach. Fantastic seafood BBQ at the beach.

Very interesting Island. Be prepared to walk and understand this is not heavy on the infrastructure. But I liked it.

Boat is fast (1h), but expensive - 120 CNY one way. You need to pay extra entrance fee of 90 CNY. Island is small and can be seen within 1 day (by bike). There are several beaches around the island, but there are no signs pointing to them (not in English at least). However the governemnt has big plans with...
