Got to be the best metro in the world. Starts about 6a.m. until about 11a.m. Runs every five or six minutes. Fantastic system. Clean, efficent and reliable! Worth one trip just to appreciate the engineering and design of the stations. Although cabs are cheap in Dubai. If you are a single person take the metro but if you are three or more a cab will be quicker and cost around the same!

It is the cleanest Metro I've been in. Very accurate in timing and you can find one every 5 minutes.

Very cheap, but requires a lot of walking from the stations to destinations. The Dubai mall is over a ten minute walk from the station. We found it extremely crowded and uncomfortable for journeys of more than one stop.

The Dubai metro was an excellent way to travel around the city. It was fast, clean and not to expensive. You get a great view of the city while travelling along and if you can manage to get the front carriage you can see straight ahead as there are no drivers!

They only have 2 types of tickets so its easy to understand and easy to buy. Not many people take trains so its convienent and not crowded and its quiet reasonable too.
