The corniche is a really nice place to walk in the evening to cool down. There are many cafes on the opposite side of the street. You can also join in on a football match if you want.

This is just a walk along the seafront next to a massive busy road. The car fumes could almost kill you with the amount of traffic there is. The other side is a sea wall, that the locals just chuck all the rubbish they have over. In other cities this could be a very nice walk. But lets be honest... More

it's about 3km along the beach and we can find many places such as market, restaurants and nice beach with the sea. harbour and some historic places also are there.

I think this is the filthiest corniche I've seen with buildings along here looking in a very bad state. The Corniche is pretty long and only parts of it is nice going towards Mortaza Palace and Gardens and parts of the beaches are OK but nothing special

Like most of Alexandria, suffers from neglect and decay. Only a small section near the Library seems to be cleaned and maintained. The other 15 Km is dirty and un-cared for.

Going from Mumbai to Alexandria was like being transported into another Mini Mumbai, especially so because of the Corniche or the Promenade.
