This bridge is symbolic of Mostar's rebirth after the devastating war of the 90s (when it was destroyed). It has a moving war photo exhibition at one end wHich is excellent and worth a visit to try and get a feel of the suffering inflicted during this time. More

As mentioned in another review, this bridge is beautiful. It makes you ponder its construction. The town on both sides and the surround architecture gives the bridge a very picturesque setting. Take lots of photos and watch for the bridge jumper...a very touristy attraction. More
