Visited the opera when on business. The concert of Allessandro Safina was sold out. Prices for admission pretty high. Concert was good, building is magnificent. If you get the chance, do visit the mirror room above the entrance.

This was my first ever ballet. Enjoyed the Nutcracker. Even if you don't enjoy ballet or opera, you are sure to enjoy exploring the interior of this marvelous building. Prices are more than reasonable.
The building is beautiful and the performance we went to was attended by all sorts of people enjoying the "The Merry Widow." While we did not speak the language, the performance was fun and reasonably priced.

Compared to what I have seen elsewhere, for example in Kiev. I expected to understand the story from what I have seen on the stage but could not.
When you'r in Lviv you have to go there. It is amazing. Inside is breath-taking.I dreamed of seeing a show there but there was nothing played the day I was there.

Saw Swan Lake, all 3 acts of it and have to say we thought it was good - locals seemed to agree as applause...
