Great botanical garden. Interesting guide who shared many stories about the history of the monastery, priceless sacral art and archaeological artefacts in the museum. Balkan history in just a few square meters. Nice botanical garden and free range 'zoo'.

Island of Visovac can often be found in commercials, posters and brochures of Croatian tourist board. There is a place by the road with perfect panoramic view on the river Krka, lake, and Visovac island. I could sit there for hours and enjoy the atmosphere. But that's me. Thi is one on my favourite places in county. It's a small island on river Krka with monastery. It's also a part of National park Krka. Island of Visovac is not so crowded as Krka waterfalls and it's very romantic. Above the island there is a great view point with monument of the last croatian king. It's a great place...
