A short wait for the cable car which runs about every 20 mins in April. Fantastic views and a nice restaurant for a coffee/beer overlooking the city. You should buy a ticket and also visit the museum about the Homelands War on top of the mountain.

Can't understand why this is listed in addition to the cable car - its the same thing! Someone at Tripadvisor should monitor the entries to avoid duplication.

You don't Need to pay for the cable Car, if you've got a Car. There's a narrow path up to the Top. Breathtaking view especially while sun down.

Cable car ride is very quick, and the views from the top are fantastic. The Homeland War exhibit inside the main fortress is not to be missed. It was very educational, sad and thought-provoking, especially being in the actual fortress that the Croats fought back the attackers from.

Must do..the view from the top is amazing..enjoy it at the restaurant over a beer, coffee, dessert or dinner. The panoramic view..undescribable..There is also a war museum at top in the fort which is overwhelming and sad, but a part of Croatian History
