There are a couple of mixed reviews on how people liked this attraction, but in my opinion it is far the best way to see Croatian coast. There are different age group boats (lower category boats for young and party cruises, better boats for fun but not the wild party cruise) so you have to be careful what you choose... More

We chose the 21-35 year group and this combined with the time of year worked out perfect for us. The people on our boat liked to have fun and party but it wasn't constant partying like some of the younger groups would be. The summer crowds had disappeared which made it a very relaxing boat trip. The crew on the... More

Dear Felicity and Matthew, Thank you for your comments on your cruise and Road Trip with us. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed both trips. With regards to the horse riding, you are right that this was an excursion ran by a local supplier. We are no longer offering the horse riding excursion for 2013. Thanks again for your... More

We can only echo many of the comments in previous reviews. We too were rather apprehensive about the week, as we'd never been on a similar group holiday, and were concerned about noise at night when moored up next to other boats. We need not have worried. We went in September on the Traditional Cruise - Split/Dubrovnik/Split, on a premier... More

Sail Croatia Explorer Cruise We were apprehensive about this trip as we had read some very mixed reviews. But we had a good time on the Explorer Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik in August 2012. We are a couple, 29 and 32, and whilst we wanted to meet people and have fun, we didnt want a 'party' boat. That's why... More

We are well travelled and late 30's/early 40's. This was our first trip to Croatia and I can't wait to go back. It is beautiful, cheap and generally friendly. We chose Route 2 Split-Dubrovnik. We went in September when the sea was warm and the weather still hot. We paid A+ and were not disappointed. Our boat was the Pacific... More

we sailed on 1 Sept on Traditional voyage no 4. The Sail Croatia website advertises this trip as for 'senior and mature couples' so we were VERY surprised when a group of 11 Swiss family members in their 30s arrived with 3 small children under 5 years old! I asked the captain why there were children aboard and he said... More

We were concerned to read UKJean’s review and since this was published, we have been in contact directly to resolve the issues. Our website does advise which ship types have air-conditioning and are priced accordingly. Whilst we have worked with Katarina Line previously, from 2013 we are operating our ships independently. My friend and I went on a Sail Croatia tour in July this year! We absolutely loved it! We were on the boat Madona, which had incredible staff and crew! We chose the return 'Navigator tour' from Split. Firstly, Croatia itself is an incredible destination... the scenery is beautiful, perfect weather and so cheap!! We loved meeting all the people... 6 of us went on a Sail Croatia trip in August. Our itinerary started in Split we visited the Croatian islands and ended in Dubrovnik. Our boat was the Pacific and was a very nice boat. The staff was wonderful including Tom who was our guide. I would highly recommend this trip for a great way to see the islands... More

Boats are basic and there is no sailing but still a care free way to visit some of the amazing towns and islands of Croatia. It's where you go, what you see and do that make this cruise not the actual cruising / boat experience. You do not get a choice of boat - this is assigned the week before... More

We chose Sail Croatia's "Explorer" tour, aimed at "young professionals and the young at heart". There were 38 of us on the "Ocean", a top quality boat (A+) with full air conditioning and private bathrooms, owned by Katerina Line but run by Sail Croatia. All of us were professionals, and most were between 25 - 30 ish, with a handful... More
