This is an open-air museum that was originally Zhulyany military air base. When the Russians left & the airstrip became a civil airport, the remaining hardware was pushed onto the grass & left there. of aviations perfect place. There is a lot of aircrafts, you can even step inside couple of them. They have a lot of soviet stuff there of course:) loved

It is a simple museum of Soviet era aviation but is a great way to entertain the kids since they can get into some of the displays .

We were brought here by a student of the National Aviation University, and were given a private tour. The grounds are not exceptionally well kept, but if the weather is nice it's a good way to spend a few hours outside of downtown Kiev.

We thought we'd spend about an hour there but in fact we spent three hours :) Lots of old aircrafts - helicopter, military and passenger planes. I couldn't help being amazed at how people managed to fly in those "boxes" and stay alive)) There's nowhere to buy food on the territory, so visiting a little food stand before the entrance... More
