The world's second largest building - definitely a must visit during your Bucharest trip.
One must see this once. Do not expect a beautiful place, but it is worth the time to take the 2 hour guided tour. It is an intruiging part of the history of this country.
well worth a visit. Ask your hotel to book you a slot then head to the palace (not forgetting photo ID or a passport). Our tour guide was good, well drilled and amusing. You only get to see about 10% of the palace but it still gives you insight to the place and its crazy grandeur.
it is impressive of its size.you cannot believe that during poverty and hunger, this man built this! everything inside was made by marble and crystals .
You have to see this place in Bucharest - built by the Romanian dictator Ceaucescu, it is one of the biggest buildings in all of Europe. Amazing feat, architecture, size, - the works.....he was building this palace while his people were starving. No wonder they executed him with no mercy...

It is really a great building, unbelievable. And the inside design is worth to see.
The building is HUGE and very impressive. We had a wonderful guide who showed us all throughout the available rooms and let us take pictures from the balcony. You have to turn in your passport before entering but it was returned without any problem as we exited. Well worth a visit!!
Dont forget your Passport with you..no enter without the passport
