It's old public transportation in Zagreb. Lovely to try even only connect from up town to Illica street. Something different because not all city have funicula like this. The price only 5 kuna.

The treat is the view from the top. No idea how much it was or if it was worth it. Very short. However, there are stairs around the side and you can take them up or down. The view from the top is very nice and a favorite for wedding photos. At least 3 couples were having their shots taken... More
Older than a horse street car in Zagreb (1890.) you should travel by it at least once on your visit. The contrast from the busy lower part of the city and the upper part is quite noticeable and fascinating for such a short distance. If you have never ridden a funicular, if you are with kids, if it is raining, if you absolutely loathe climbing a short flight of stairs do it! Nice view!
