This is an amazing place! I strongly recommend everyone in Peru for holiday to visit this valley and its Inca's riuns!! Amazing opportunity to take wonderful pictures, because you will see incredible natural landscape. We were they between the end of April and the beginning of May and the weather was perfect. I think this is the best time of... More

Most people that go to Peru go straight to Cusco, Machu Picchu, jungles in the North, or Lake Titicaca. Not so many even go through the Sacred Valley. It is probably not what you expect, but it definetely worth your time to go there and see it even if it is just a one day trip through it. It costs... More

This is a great day trip from Cusco to see the surrounding countryside and villages and very different from what you see from the train. The highlights for us were Pisac, both thentown and the markets and the Ollantaytambo Inca site. More

There was almost no one there. We went there via bike which was just amazing.. I highly recommend to take the bike there because you are able to see places where most people via bus/car/taxi are not able to see!!! More

Gorgeous scenery. Like stepping back in time and witnessing a more simple life. We climb high into the Andes past adobe homes, donkeys, alpacas, small archaeological sites, villages, and natives tending hand tilled plots of corn. First stop Awana Kancha, the textile center preserving traditional weaving for cultural and economic purposes. Weavers demonstrate their craft and recreate Incan textiles in... More

Beautiful vistas, amazing archaelogical sites and delicious food. Try to walk the Pisac ruins; many tours only include the market and skip the site which is fascinating. Try to stop at Yucay and visit the Posada del Inca Hotel, it's a beautiful place (and imagine it was once a private house!). More
