Not much of a place to swim - it's chilly - but take a horseback ride and also make time to go up Osorno and see the view. More

Lago Llanquihue is magnificent! A huge and beautiful lake! Puerto Varas sits right on the shore and you can get a fabulous view of Osorno, a perfect peek of a volcano. More

impressive lake, we were at differnt places (Octay, Frutillar, Puerto Varas, Ensenada,..) the time was not favorable but it must be an excellent place to have your weekend house More

The lake is enormous and offers great views of Volcano Osorno and the two surrounding ones. We were lucky enough to catch the full moon on March 8 rising over the lake next to one of the volcanos and got a great photograph.
