Hot pools of different temperatures (some very hot) seeming naturally made, in a deep valley amidst forest covered mountains ... easy to reach by local public transportation, but you must be prepared to walk down to the valley and then, after all the relaxing baths, to climb back to the park entrance. Up there, by the bus stop, there is... More

Los Pozones is a springs thermal facility in Pucón, Chile. It's the only one that opens at night and has five hot springs pools (that go from 38ºC to 42ºC). There's fancier spas and thermas in the same area, but Los Pozones it's a great and cheap option to relax. Keep in mind that this place doesn't offer any restaurants... More

I've been there twice. I like the natural surroundings (forest, river, etc). Pros: - Natural surroundings - Pools made of rocks and sand, with varying temperatures - some quite hot - Fair prices - accessible by car or bus from Pucon (small, blue buses that leave near the Pulman/JAC terminals) Cons: - lots of steps to get to the springs... We went there on a rainy evening and thought it was really nice, but very basic. The termas were not lighted very well, so we weren't really sure where all the springs were exactly. Also, the changing cabins have lockers without locks, so if you want to leave your things, you have to take your own lock. We took along... More

Hot springs are situated beside a rushing stream and you feel more with nature when you lie in the pools as they are constructed from rock and sand rather than your basic swimming pool. There are many pools of varying temperatures to choose. The change rooms are very basic - bring footwear to walk between pools as the paths are... More

Access is way too difficult and the pozos are like small steam baths - you don't get to enjoy any views. More

We thought this was a beautiful place and a very pleasant experience. The drive here was lovely, too. We made the mistake, however, of going in the heat of the day. The sun strikes the Pozones site very directly at mid-day, and this took much fun out of getting a hot soak. It would have been better to go relatively... More

We went here at night with a group. There are five or six pools all surrounded by rock with rock bottoms. Some of the baths were crowded. Only one or two were warm enough for me. There are no real changing areas. We still enjoyed it because the stars were out and we did find one spot that was warm... More

We went there for an evening tour. There are several ponds with warm or hot water. What is missing is facilities like working showers (there are two or so, but I really didn't want to try them!) or a place to leave your things. So we had to put our bags beside the pool and tried to keep an eye... More
