We were just lucky to come here on a weekday and a gloomy weather so basically we truly did enjoy the view & museum on our way. There are also restaurants and starbucks chain available few steps to the park. The view of the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and the Park was gorgeous.

As I had time left, I visited this iconic landmark like many, many others. The view is quite spectacular, due to the combination of the statue, wheel and the amazing hotel at the other side of the water. As there were crowds of people, it was quite difficult to make a nice picture of the Merlion without tourists. During the... More

This structure represents Singapore so no one should miss this. Structure is unique, place around this is superb which means tourists would get so many scene to capture and make nice memory. Few pubs and bars are also available but its quite expense. Best option is go Clarke Quay and then take boat (river ride) and get down to Merlion... More

Take a boat trip round the bay and you get excellent views & photo opportunities of the Merlion without the crowds. Like a previous reviewer said, it's not overwhelming, but it is a landmark monument.

Worth it just because this is the monument that represents the city, and it is the most renowned landmark. If you don't get to make it to the Merlion during your visit though, you're not missing anything that would have made a great memory.

Great view and excellent service, but the best part was watching a short and entertaining movie to learn about the history of Singapore

The merlion is a signature image of Singapore, and this park is a must see place in Singapore. Visiting Singapore is not complete before visiting Merlion Park. This is a place with an excellent view to take photographs, even if you don't always take yourself within those photos.
