Nice scenery specially at night. A long walk but worth it. We walked from Marina bay sands and passed on this attraction. Nothing special but a good picture will do.
Visited on 17/11/2013 w family.A cloudy n showering rain day.As it was a Sunday afternoon, there were so many ppl.Because of the weather so is a cool strolling n relaxing walk. The whole underth Esplanade Bridge was occupied by all the foreign workers sitting everywhere on the floor.Within this Park, you can see the Lim Bo Seng Memorial (pagoda),the Cenotaph(war memorial... The park itself doesn't have a wow factor that attractions need these days, but now being bypassed by all the major roads the park becomes a quieter place. A few monuments in the park provide a reason to zig zag through the park, but none of them have a draw in factor. The most interesting for me was a "Canon... More
When working around George Street and staying Conrad/Pan Pacific area I walk back after work - along Boat Quay and onto the small Esplanade Park with the view of Marina Bay Sands at night - it's a smashing walk, lots going on, nothing intrusive and possibly the best view in town. THe park itself is small with some statues and... More
Nice for picture taking, strolling and relaxing. Good time to stroll late in the afternoonn and in the evening.
The Esplanade Park along with the bridge to the Merlion park is a beautiful place to sit relax and take awesome photos. Visit this place in the evening, starting from the Esplanade park and finally reaching the Merlion park at dusk via the bridge. The view of Marina Bay Sands is just spectacular.......
Start the walking tour at around 6:00pm at Merlion Park in front of Fullerton Hotel, then walk to the esplanade theater, and get an early dinner at the hawkers eatery beside the theater, and park. There is a light show by the bay at around 7 to 7:30pm after the light show you can proceed to Marina Sands Hotel, for... More
This park located near Clark Quay and Marina Bay ... this place has many good spots to take impresive pictures, some unique building, monumend and landmarks ... cool place to stop for a while and taking pictures... a good place too to do jogging.
It's a nice place to kill some time or if you are walking between destinations. Nice little scenery, close to the water, and overall a pleasant place to visit. I wouldn't consider this a "must do" but if you happen to stumble upon it, it makes a nice little detour.
Esplanade Park is the oldest park in Singapore and a nice little park, only 1/2 a km long this is a pleasant area to pass by during walks along the river between Clark Quay and Marina Bay. There are some interesting things to see here but one can't help but notice how overshadowed the park is now with the tremendous... More
