This little spot has been referred to as Singapore's "Bohemian" enclave because of its variety of art and craft shops, art galleries, art framing specialists, street cobblers, gift shops, novelty shops, gourment takeaway outlets, wine cellars, organic food outlets, custom-made shoes shop, imported kitcheware store, body waxing specialists, international school uniform tailors, master tailors, theme party clothing store, tarrot card readers, ethnic home decor articles, fine dining restaurants and many other interesting shops. These outlets serve the residents of the surrounding middle class estates. You can witness expatriate housewives spending their day here having breakfast, running errands, meeting up friends for lunch and enjoying a nail spa before shopping for groceries and heading home.Retail establishments are located along four streets and two shopping buildings. These streets are: (i) Jalan Merah Saga (ii) Holland Avenue (iii) Lorong Liput and (iv) Lorong Mambong. The shopping buildings are: (i) Holland Road Shopping Centre, which is along Holland Avenue, and (ii) Holland V Shopping Mall, along Lorong Liput. These two buildings are often casually referred to by sales assistants as Holland Village Shopping Centre, which is a non-existent building. All these streets are within walking distances and it is a good place to spend the day strolling, relaxing in a spa, shopping, having the meal of your choice and seeing the world go by at one of its famous pubs. « less

Full of bars and restaurants with a great buzz about the place. Expensive to drink but plenty of happy hour prices available before 9. Mexican Restaurant good, Crust pizza one of my my favourites. Kalong food court serves up some cheap and cheerful dishes.

This area for one reason or another still seems fairly unknown by most tourists. We set out to go here as we knew that 'Crust' restaurant sold Gluten free pizza and after 6 months living in Macau with no pizza, it was a must (and it was incredible!) The village area shuts off the roads early evening, really giving it... More

This is a nice place to hang out in Singapore, specially for expats/foreigners... although you do see locals as well. Lots of different food options, most of them decent enough. Probably not the best place for the best meals, but you are likely to have some good food in a pretty and friendly setting. All the usual suspects are here... More

A small cross roads that is sealed off from traffic. Lot of youngsters ..but all well behaved ones ! More Ex-Pats than locals. Numerous restaurants from Mexican to Lebanese ..pizza...Sushi....small hawker centre..Macdonaldds...you name it. Also in between all the eating place are bars !... It's like a small Spanish tourist strip in Singapore. But good fun and lively all the... More

I went with some friends who live in the neighborhood. Scene was dominated by expats. Several restaurants covering a wide variety of tastes. Was underwhelmed by Mexican restaurant but enjoyed Harry's Bar with desert at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Whenever you dont feel like being alone but all of your friends are busy, you go to Holland Village. It's a melting pot of expat and locals and cool people. I went there quite often. There are variety of restaurants, cafes, pubs.. You can just sit outside of the foodcourt with a beer, ppl around would provide you with a... More

We go to restaurants in Holland V all the time, and it's a great place to chill, eat and hang out. The bars are good, nice atmosphere. Most restaurants are decent quality, although expect to pay $20-40 per person, before alcohol. Parking is terrible most of the time, so take a cab or the MRT.

I have came many times for dinner with some friends. Most restaurants here serve pretty authentic food. If you're at Holland Village, you can try these 2 restaurants - AMICI Italian Restaurant or CHA CHA CHA (Mexican restaurant) these two are my favourites and a typical dinner without alcohol drinks will cost about $20 to $30. The seafood nachos at... More

We live close so we are often in Holland VIllage to either grab a drink at one of the many bars or to have a meal in a restaurant on at the Hawker centre. When we eat at one of the restuarnts we bring the kids scooters as they close the street to cars so while we are finishing our... More

What's all the buzz? Clothing stores sell old rejects with the tags marked out for serious $$. I found the streets grungy- not in the cool "I'm not in Kansas anymore" grungy. There are some decent looking western restaurants if you can't wait until you get home to eat ravioli. I did eat the MOST INCREDIBLE treat from the busy... More
