Nice place to be on hot humid rainy day. Seems like endless shops and snacks. Centrally located easy to get to. MRT accessible walkable from all directions. Ended up in here much longer than we thought we would be and beyond the rainfall

Lots of different shops, cafes etc
Superb range of local foods available throughout
On a night it becomes very busy, although there are plenty of eating places we found it hard to get a seat some nights as all the locals beat us to it

This shopping centre links City Hall and Esplanade MRT stations and is a great escape from the humidity above and there's plenty of shops and cafes down below.
Its amazing how easy it is to get lost underground and come up somewhere you didn't expect to.
The same with all the underground links and shops.
Brilliant way to shop

Just like the name suggests this mall is more like a link between some of the cities central MRT stations and Big Malls. You can just get off at the MRT station and walk indoors to places like Esplanade Theater, Marina Mall and Suntec City which is convenient specially with kids. The mall has all the usual shop chains and fast food places plus some banks a 7/11 and pharmacies. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if your going to one of the places the mall connects to it's helpful.

After having walked from our hotel in Caning Street to the GP circuit near Raffles City for three days, we then found after a hop on hop off bus trip that there is an underground walkway from Suntec City, all the way back to our hotel.
We asked directions to walk back and were told to go down the MRT tube entrance. We did not want the tube but the helper insisted. So down we went, only to find that there is a large stretch of very well laid out, tiled, illuminated and safe tunnel walkway with shops, restaurants and coffee bars that took us almost to the hotel in Caning Street. We were amazed.

We have been told there are others but have not found them yet!

It's a nice, convenient and walkable mall to escape the heat of Sunny Singapore! Really like coming to the Starbucks here (there's 2!) to do some work/catch up with old friends. :-)

Yes, we do like to hide underground in Singapore, a welcome break from the oppressive heat and hummidity!

However, the City Link Mall manages to deliver the lowest common denominator of all ‘captive underground’ experiences we have seen anywhere globally!!!

Too crowded, longest queues ever for even Din Tai Fung ever!, and cheapest bubble tea, fruit juice, etc bars to fill in the retail gaps...

This Mall seems to go on for ever and the selection of shops and restaurants is exceptional. You can also find a branch of Miniso that has top quality phone leads and head phones at truly cheap prices. Hunt it out.

City Link is very near city hall mrt station. It connects from train to many places like Esplanade, Marina Bay, Suntec City and Raffles City as well. When you pass by along this link you can see a lot of shops like clothing, shoes and bags accessories, food stall and food shop as well as drinks from locals to international food as well, it caters book store and novelty items also. A good place to see
