I booked the trip via their website - and on Monday morning the tour guide, Rosita, met me at the bum boat dock at Pulau Ubin. I have always been a seasport kinda person, but sadly my wife is not that sporty. But i am slowly swaying her towards seasports. My visit to Pulau Ubin for the Mangrove Kayaking expedition was an interesting experience right from the time we stepped-off the main Island of Singapore, and onto the rustic bumboat to Pulau Ubin, and back. Had been to Ubin for a couple of times but were only cycling around. This time had the chance to experience kayaking at ubin and get to experience and learn about the mangrove. Singapore is a small island with many BIG opportunities (ahem Asian Detours kayaking tours). Kayaking is one of those things that can be shared over an afternoon date (small group), team bonding trip (large group) or simply getting 1 or 2 star certified.
