Graveyards, smoke houses, wet markets, gun batteries, the city’s best-kept secret places. You name it, we have it. Since 2003, the Walks led by an eclectic bunch of researcher-guides have taken locals and travellers alike off the beaten track, and entertained with an endless store of anecdotes that reveal the true heart of the city. I have been in Singapore for quite a while & heard of the Original Singapore Walks from friends. I decided to do the Arab Street Walk with some friends. Gosh! The guides are really excellent & I enjoyed every bit of it. I learnt a lot about the history of the location as well as Singapore. A wonderful insight.

We took the Monday Colonial walk with Carol and enjoyed every minute. Our guide was both knowledgable and articulate, weaving together local anecdote and historical research to give a top notch insight into the city's origins and development. Would recommend this as a great way to explore and get under the skin of the city. We rally enjoyed the morning... More

We were part of the Changi tour run by Carol and it was amazing! Carol has extraordinary insight and passion and was a beautiful communicator. She was thoughtful about tailoring her stories to be relevant to all the nationalities represented on the tour and had a lovely manner of involving people as she presented. The content is incredible - so... More

As is the case w/most tours the quality of the tour depends on the quality of the guide. A generic guide simply gives you information and walks you around. The better guides make it a more personal experience with supplemental background info about the area as well as their own experiences living in the area. We went on two tours... More

We did 3 trips with the company. Very good value and by far the best was the Sat tour of Changi. Carol was a wonderful guide, full of stories and compassion. Very worthwhile.

Family of 4 from USA. We had a fascinating time learning about what happened in Singapore during WW2. Most Americans don't know that Singapore was attacked simultaneously with Pearl Harbor by the Japanese. Amazing stories of survival at Changi Prison. Excellent guide.

Educational, well-paced. We did the tour of the Arab quarter, and our guide (Wina, if memory serves me correctly) was full of information - but not overwhelming!
