Always wanted to step into this island so much. And we made it (May 2013). Didn't expect the day I came back to my country and I am planning for my 2nd trip to Boracay again. Great food and drinks, great people, great place, great beach, great shopping, great activities...everything are value for money! No where else can beat this... More

Money worth wise is really positive, knowing that you can have a lot of activities and haggle with the price. I mean, to a more reasonable price.

I have been to some of South East Asia's known beaches in Koh Samui , Koh Panghan , Bintan , Malaysia , Phuket but Boracay beat them hands down in terms of a fine sandy beach .....maybe one day in Maldives or Rio i will find a better beach than here ....maybe ..... Almost every single part of this place... More

My second time in Boracay. I read about how it was being exploited with McDonalds ect, well nothing has changed asfar as I can see, McDonalds is tucked down a side road by the regency and doesn't impact at all, if anything its made the food more competitively priced on the beach. and starbucks has been there a long time.... We found everything what you expect from a good holiday place. There is lots of eating places for every budget. We had a dinner for 3.000 pesos, and we had a dinner for 400 pesos( for 2 person). The hotel price ranges are also vary. We stayed in 3 different hotels, and paid average 3.000 pesos for room (2pax included... More

Even if the Philippines is blessed with a full year of glowing bright sunshine, we still look forward to the summertime when we can lounge lazily in the beach, bask and swelter in the heat to isolate ourselves from the peremptory of corporate life or simply to escape from the rigors of city living. Whatever the reasons, a temporary retreat... More

If you are into crowds of people walking along a narrow strip of sand, 4 km in length, in 35 degree heat, with hawkers approaching you every 10 minutes, if you enjoy watching begging mothers beat their children in full view of restaurant and hotel owners, this is the place for you. If you want to experience a white sandy... More

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Asia. The sand is so fine and really like powder. The long stretch of beach of white powder is wonderful to walk on. The water is crystal clear. Some of the marine creatures will swim right close to the shore. There is a small island with Virgin Mary statue on it.... More
