If not for our very witty tour guide, we might have been dissatisfied with the cave. The cave is pretty small with not so much rock formations inside, but the trip is sure fun when you explore it with your best buds.

This is a great site to see if you are limited on time. One problem with visiting Bohol is many sites are spread out and you can spend much time in transit (not traffic as that is limited to Tagbilaran city) Bohol roads outside of Tagbilaran are open and most vans drive around 130 Kph as a regular speed. you might expect this to be a huge cave, but it's not. and even if it's just small, you'd be amazed at the formations inside. aside from the stalactites, there is an underground pool where you could swim. according to the locals, the owner of the area wanted to develop the land, farming i guess, and when he dug up... Must visit! It is just a small cave but my first time to visit one. Creepy to look at the lake inside. We had a funny guide, his name was JB, Justin Beiber for short, he said!

The cave trip was not really worth the visit. It was very small and not really too much to see. There is the option for swimming in the cave however we did not really want to do this. We were expecting something a little bigger.

Amazing, wonderful cave, you have to go down under the ground to see the cave. It's so exciting 'coz the ground that you walk is already the top of the cave and you will realize it when you're already under the ground. In the cave is so dark but when you're used with the dark, you will see that the... More

Wow, it's cool and fantastic! I just watch people busy swimming.. Outside you will see some bat going in and out the cave.

Comparing with Underground river of Puerto Princesa if you've been to both cave, HINAGDANAN cave for me is a close encounter. Since cave is not that big (and not that smelly due to all the bats) you can closely see those stalactite and stalagmite plus Underground is dark, but of course it is still worth visiting the latter due to... Quite a detour from anything else but worth it. The pool is deep and cool, very refreshing after a long day sightseeing. Crazy sparrows will dive bomb you in the entrance. Fun.
