Excellent photo opportunity and you can wander down by the avenue of the stars. Take a star ferry across to Hong Kong for a few dollars which is quick and easy

This is what most people think of when they picture Hong Kong, but there are so many better places to go. Everyone and their mother takes the Star Ferry, and everyone should do it once. Once is enough. Most people look at the harbour from Avenue of the Stars or the promenade from the Kowloon side, and that is why... More

I live here, I am very luck to see the harbor often and I commute to work by Ferry daily and am able to be part of the harbor experience twice a day. There are so many things to see, from the small family fishing boat headed out for the day or the giant container ships, the harbor is always... More

The best view over Victoria Harbour is from Kowloon towards Hong Kong Island. The most spectacular cityscapes at night are from any point on Avenue of the Stars. Hong Kong can have lots of low cloud, so it can take a few nights to get really crisp photos, although when the cloud is very low obscuring the tops of the... More

Lots of ferries and shipping but definately a harbour like a lot of others in the world. The Star Ferries are a sight in their multi-coloured livery and the skylines are impressive but nothing really exotic or unique

Although the harbour is busy, but it is very safe. Have a look via Star Ferry, can enjoy a whole city view. The fee is not expensive, lower deck - Star Ferry USD 0.4 Tsim Sha Tsui to Central

Definitely worth taking a long stroll along Victoria Harbour at night. You can see the HK skyline, as well as the red-lighted junks ferrying people across. Nice place for relaxing or taking spectacular photos.
