Loved the view from Kowloon side (and back and forth on the ferries). I thought the symphony of lights show was a bit over-rated, but still glad I saw it (the kids weren't too fussed though!)

Beautiful lights flashing off and on throughout the skyline. We sat outside with many others enjoying the sights. Completely free! In the daytime the skyline is also very impressive. Go up to The Peak to get the best view.

Hong Kong has it's unique skyline with nice modern buildings, all mixed with old ones. Don't forget the show close by Intercontinental, in Kowloon, facing HK island! Fantastic!

Got the MTR to avenue of stars which was fun in itself, live music playing, cafes and bars to sit at for a drink and lots of photo opportunities. It's free to walk up and down and the light show happens every single night with the lights flashing in time to the music, you can also watch the junk boats... More

worth sending a evening there, get there before sun set to get the day light view & plenty of picturesque boats on the sea, as sun sets the skyline gets lit up, by 8 pm the free music & light show, not very great but worth the 20 minutes while you are there anyway

Night photos are great the skyline goes on forever. Good views from star ferries. The night light show starts at 8 pm and is best from the Kowloon side

Every night is exciting as the lights backdrop the buildings and accentuate the harbor. During the day you have dramatic view of the harbor, mountains and skyscrapers. It is truly a sight to see and enjoy.
