The Legislative Council of Hong Kong is one of the rare colonial buildings which remain. Located in Central, on HKG Island, it was built in 1843 at the time of Queen Victoria. There is a lovely little square in front. But today it is squeezed in between high rise buildings that make today's Hong Kong skyline.

It is one of the very few well maintained heritage building in Hong Kong. It celebrated its 100th anniversary recently. The legislature was unfortunately moved to a terrible new complex. The building will be handed over to the final court of appeal. It is closed for the time being. There will be a museum of justice in the building when...

The Hong Kong Legislature, more commonly known locally as the Legco Building, is not an important visitor attraction in Hong Kong.
