If the sun is out go there. Great spot to stroll along the esplanade and back streets. The seafood was so fresh and so many flavours.

We were lucky to visit on Dragon boat day and enjoyed the noise & spectacle of the racing dragon boats. Although the small town was crowded, we were able to enjoy a reasonably priced lunch of dim sum followed by a short walk to the swiimming beach where we could relax on the clean but gritty sand.
nice walk although quite hot. harbor has nice authentic fishing vessels and some decent restaurants for a fish for lunch.
We headed out here for an afternoon visit and did some walking. Very interesting place where you can see a bit of the old Hong Kong. Lovely beaches. Great not to have any cars to watch out for. Lovely seafood.
