I`m glad this botanical garden was part of our itinerary in Aswan. We saw lots of rare plants and took many nice pictures. Also the view of the Nile around the Kitchener island is beautiful - certainly worth of a visit.

What a lovely garden, it goes on forever and so much to see and photograph. The views are breathtaking and the boat ride over to the island is so relaxing. Places to sit and rest, shade and sunshine, a market on exit, but NO hassle!

The gardens need to be reached by boat and are located on Kitchener's Island,in the middle of the Nile at Aswan. The variety of palms and tropical plants from around the world is really impressive and create a small green oasis. A nice place to relax between your ruins "run".

Something different from temples, but not as interesting. The trip from cruise boat to Kitchener Island, where the gardens are, by fellucca was pleasant and enjoyable.
