It is a nice garden with great choice of restaurants. You will see most of Cairo and specially at sun set. The restaurants and food quality is good but little bit expensive. I recommend going there for lunch and dinner for a change
nice place to visit and spend some time there. i enjoyed walking through dull flowers in the breeze . I feel relaxed and refreshed.
we went to Al Azhar park twice. Lots of egyptians enjoying the weather and the views. We went in the late afternoon both times and had tea and a snack at the restaurant by the lake. Definitely a place to calm down after fighting traffic and cabs elsewhere. you do need to take a cab to get there.
The park is not huge but provides and peaceful place for a walk and lunch along with some great views over the city as well up to the Citadel and mosques.
beautiful and expansive park about 2km north of the citadel where many Egyptian families (ESP. With young children) will come to spend an afternoon. The citadel view restaurant is quite pricey but offers great views of the city. A nice place to escape from the chaos of the city with friendly locals. £7 egp entry per person
I visited this park 2 times while I was on Cairo , is such a peaceful and lovely place ...If you need a place to think , this is the place ,,for me becomes one of the places that I love and very special also!

A golf cart will take you around and the driver will tell you all about the history of the place. At the end you can have a...

Local children were very eager to take pics, kiss and talk to our small children. They were all very nice, but it was a bit too much. Everybody...
