I went with three friends on a friday night, without reservation and we were informed that it was fully booked for the night. So we made reservation for the next day's dinner and performance. The architecture of this theater is fantastic is truely myanmar. Very hard to get airconditioned taxis.
I think it was really nice to visit here. Food was great and dancers beautiful. I was there alone but that didn't matter. I had wonderful evening there. That 25 dollars is not bad for this at all.
At 20000Kyat a head, this place is the most expensive activity you'll do in Yangon. That being said, the food is great and the entertainment is excellent. My wife and I went with low expectations and had a blast. After enjoying your dinner and over two hours of different cultural entertainment, we took a beautiful walk around the lake at...

The best buffet we had in Yangon with too many choices of food mostly Myanmar cooking. The buffet each was 25 dollars and everything is included. Some cultural dance show from Burmese girls was fun follow by Myanmar music. If you go to Kandawgyi you must go try this big buffet. Many things to eat
I was impressed again by the Karaweik Palace. This is a really good photo spot to shoot the Shwedagon Pagoda. I suggest you should come here in sunset and stay until the lights are on.
Dinner at the Karaweik is buffet style for US$25. The evening show of traditional dancing & singing begins at 6pm so get there before so you’ve filled your plate & won’t miss a thing. My 3rd visit in 10 years & this is by far the best because I got there early. On arrival, you’re greeted & welcomed along the...
