This is a definite must see, best place to go with the family, wear reef shoes. Just get a taxi there no need to do tour but Evergreen tours are great if you need a tour. We had to do a tour as it was a taxi strike the day we went. More

The Mele Cascades are absolutely beautiful, I recommend walking to the top and swimming under the waterfall. We went on a day when there was cruise ship in Port Villa, though, which I don't recommend because it's crowded. Much better to go on a day when there are no cruise ships. More

These are the best waterfalls we have seen. Go when the cruise ships aren't in or early before the cruise ship crowd arrives! Once they arrive the crowd detracts from the amazing natural beauty. Also, make sure you have sturdy shoes and expect to get totally wet. More
