Loved going early in the morning to be first to the top to take photos with no one else there. Beuatiful place, spectacular waterfalls, very refreshing to take a dip in several areas. Bus fare 200vt from town.

Unfortunately the day we visited we were bombarded by a cruiseship so the place was packed, which made the hike up the narrow path laiden with steps and tree roots more like a hike than a casual stroll!! It was hard to take a picture of any of the falls without fellow tourists in it but was a beautiful place...

This is a must and usually included in a round island tour. It's lovely walk and you can go swimming afterwards. Not much fun on a rainy day though

This is a definite must see, best place to go with the family, wear reef shoes. Just get a taxi there no need to do tour but Evergreen tours are great if you need a tour. We had to do a tour as it was a taxi strike the day we went.

Most magnificent place i have ever seen. Be prepared for a hard walk uphill, but know that it will be well worth the walk.

Wow! We've just been to Vila and Cascade Waterfalls. They are amazing. I think the fantastic part of them is that you can safely walk up the smaller of the waterfalls. The water is cool, but really refreshing, and there are several chains to help you up. I wore my boat-shoes and found that the rocks in the waterfalls weren't...

These are the best waterfalls we have seen. Go when the cruise ships aren't in or early before the cruise ship crowd arrives! Once they arrive the crowd detracts from the amazing natural beauty.
Also, make sure you have sturdy shoes and expect to get totally wet.

If you are in Vanuatu, do not miss a trip to the Mele Cascades. It's a bit of a hike to the top of the hill where they are located, but once you arrive you will be blown away. The pools are a perfect shade of blue, the water is so clear and refreshing, the surrounding plants are lovely. If...
