This waterfall is great! the hike is not too difficult and I actually stood only in my bikini underneath the fall... What a shower!!! People stood still for a minute but then they tried as well.... so much fun! (I visited Palau in 2010.)

we rented a car on the first day in Palau and so arrived later than the tours - we hiked down and up the falls and spent time frolicking in the various pools as you walk down to the falls. Took about 20min hike down and 30min hike back from the falls, but I would say the journey and the waterfall was worth it! Be careful of the slippery slopes and rocks though, plus Palau's unpredictable weather where it will just rain on you. Grab that walking stickas suggested by the site operator!

Worth the trip and the trek. Scenery from the top of the jungle is breathtaking. River and falls are refreshing with its crystal clear cool water. Would advise visitors to bring/ wear their booties as rocks can get very slippery. And booties are good for wading in the water. Also, the wooden planks leading to the falls themselves are lined... the hike up was great - a real vast foliage of fauna, plus lots of ruins from Japanese occupation gone by....It is a a bit slippery, so make sure to pick up a walking stick (which is free of charge) at the entrance. On the hike down to the waterfall...we discovered a zip line! Wonderful surprise! The hike down and back up was beautiful...or you can take the monorail for a more relaxed ride. The falls themselves were amazing.
