A great (looong) day and an absolute rush. We were concerned about doing this as we are not experienced cyclists and the photos highlight that its a long way down to the bottom if you slip off the road! My main advice for those who want information is visit B-side agency - the guy here was amazing, he had so... More

Yesterday we road down death hill and had a great time. The reviews below explain the whole experience well so I won't go into that but I do want to comment about some of the companies. We went with Pro Downhill and only had three in our group + the guide + the support driver so it felt like a... More

An experience and one of the main things to do in La Paz. The constantly beautiful views and especially the change of climate (you start high in the sparse and forbidding mountains near La Paz and end up in the beautiful, sup-tropical Yungas) makes this unforgettable. I had no biking/downhill experience, and was slightly worried before I started the trip.... More

Awesome views, awesome bikes and fantastic gringo guides who provide plenty of safety tips and history along the way (the other companies pretty much just rode down without the history talks or attention to detail for safety). Animal sanctuary (monkey tour) and zipline at the bottom made for a complete day of experiences. Spend the money and enjoy one of... More

This was one of the most amazing tours I have ever done. 4 hours of heart pumping down hill biking and the most amazing views of the Andes and Yungas. You can easily find many tour companies in the Witches Market. There are dozens. B-Side and Gravity are highly recommended. A little less pricy is Xtreme, but still very good. More

When I was researching which company to go with I was overwhelmed with choices so I am leaving this review to help others. Having done the tour you get to see the other companies gear and bikes. It seems as though you will not go wrong with any mid-range company. You do not need to pay extra to go with... More

Chose Gravity based on word of mouth and safety records, not disappointed. Fantastic day, best so far in 2 months in South America. Paddy, our guide, gave clear instruction and allowed us to go at our own pace, there was no pressure to go fast, although as I love to ride, I wanted to push myself and keep up at... More

I've done a fair bit of mountain biking before, but was still a bit daunted before doing this ride. Starting off was freezing cold and hailing with snowy mountains all around us. When you get to the death road you can see the route going off into the distance and it is spectacular. There are some tricky bits on the... More

Did it by bike but would not suggest others doing it without full protection. Fell off and broke a finger on a bad bend More
