The roadtrip from beirut is awesome and the views from the mountains all the way to the Bekaa plateau are exceptionally unique. At the chateau the tour is more elaborate than the tour at Ksara. Guides thouroughly explain to visitors what each grape variety is used for and why and how it is grown. The caves are a little bit... More

After a horrible experience at a neighboring Chateau Ksara (see my review on it), my husband and I made a beeline for Chateau Kefraya, the second largest winery in Lebanon. The drive alone was gorgeous, driving through tree lined streets and a backdrop of lush mountains. You'll pass by several vineyards on your way there but keep going to Kefraya.... More
