Lovely unspoilt islands. get a taxi to show you the highlights. The Najdi Mosque (you can go in and take photos) Lovely old buildings, hundreds of years old. Get a boat to take you to snorkelling spots where you will be the only swimmers and the reef is pristine. Go quickly before saudi gets it's tourism act together!

Travelling 1300 km from Riyadh to Jazan and 50 km from Jazan to Farasan takes a lot of courage, time, patience and stamina. Having said that, once you have the first sight of Farasan Island, you will know that surely every effort was worth it!
The island comes as a very pleasing surprise to us, specially the nearby coral islands....

Farasan islands and simply amazing.
Great diving, snorkeling and plenty of white empty beaches and rest, relax. The only other people you will see there are your fellows on the boat who took you to the small island around main one - Farasan.
On the main island there are not so many things to do and see, some gazelles, ruins...
