I like the fact that one is able to listen to the recordings of survivors of this tradegy and see their faces on the screen and reliaze that these are human beings like ourselves I dislike the fact that people tend to forget unless it afects them

It was informative. The Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C made me cry. This one was a lot of walking ad had a history not so much personal atmosphere about it.

Take your time and get to know the people and understand what happened. If you aren't mad by the end of the inside exhibits go back and start over again. There are no words that can express this museum other than "how in the world could someone be so mean?". To know this happend is one thing, to see what happened is something else. Take lots of tissues.

It is a superbly built & curated museum. My father a WWII veteran of the Pacific learned SO MUCH he simply did not know. After the museum , dont miss the Valley of Communities, down a long path to a 2.5 acre monument to the towns that were destroyed in the Holocaust. Probably the best monument i have ever seen, simple yet grand and glorious.
