As a seventy-year old I found the place physically demanding but the effort was truly worthwhile. The models and layout diagrams realy help to make sense of the experience on the ground. The panorama from the tower is another great way of getting properly orientated.

The exhibits here walk you through Jerusalem's history era by era, which will help you better appreciate all of the different cultural quarters in the city when you explore Old City later. The towers also allow for an uninhibited view of the city (old and new) from above--great spot for pictures! An audio tour is available (we chose not to... More

We went to the citadel only at night to see the light show, which we really enjoyed. It shows the history of Jerusalem in a simple, colorful, but really impact full way projected to the walls of the citadel. Well done also combined with the music. We had our seats on the balcony which was perfect.

We started our trip to Jerusalem at the Tower of David Museum, and it was a perfect introduction. The Tower has been extensively excavated, and contains layer upon layer of fascinating history. We visited on a dull day, and nearly had the place to ourselves; I suspect it is not like this in the summer. The museum is spread round... More

This is the most amazing sound & light show ever created & is a MUST - NOT MISS. Even after touring all day, no matter how tired you are find the 45 minutes to go & see this amazingly, awesome Night Light Spectacular. The performance begins along the paths that lead to the main stage & continues with a 30... More

If you want to know all about the history of Jerusalem, visit this museum at the end of your tour in the Old City. Nice movie about the different periods and beautiful lookouts.

is a nice light & projection show highlighting some of historical moments of the city - a nice opportunity to cross through the Citadel which reveals a wonderful inside space.

The Tower of David museum is a museum and small city/ruin within the old city of Jerusalem. The Museum clearly shows the history of Jerusalem. As you go to each section of the museum, you walk outside overlooking the citadel. You can walk down into the citadel or stay on walks that overlook it. It's a very interesting side trip... More

Despite living in the city for many years now and frequenting the Old City on a regular basis, leaving aside the Chihouli exhibition of year 2000 (remnants of which are still in the enclosure), i only got to the Tower Of David museum when friends visited from abroad early in April. The museum is informative and skillfully planned, very easy... More
