We were here before, but this time we brought our 2 year old. its very nice and interesting, colorful and diverse. Make sure to get in early to avoid rush hours and also the very hot noon sun.

We found the park to be a tad overpriced. Our kids (oldest is 8) enjoyed themselves, underwater boat was a waste of time and money, we would have been better off to rent our boat with a glass bottom. Oceanarium was enjoyed.

Ok, seems like I'm a bit obsessed with fishes therefore spend 6 hours, unlike suggested by many 2h. :-) I literally saw and tried everything in this place incl. all the feedings of different creatures, movie, restaurant etc. Highlights: - Rare fishes feeding with explanation about them (octopus feeding!) - Underwater observatory itself - I was coming there and back... A friend told me that looking out the windows of this submerged space is like scuba diving. You are watching the fish the way they really interact with their environment, with real currents, real sunlight, real predators. I could have stayed there and watched them for days - huge schools of fish appear and disappear, big ones meander by in... More

The observatory is just 2 km from Taba border, so we crossed the border from Egypt and walked there by feet. Of course You can take a taxi right after the border. The park itself consist of several areas: aquariums with rear fishes, sharks, turtles, special underwater station where you can observe live corals; children playing area; food station; shops... One of the important landmarks in Eilat is the observatory. Its a must in eilat and you can spend 3-4 hours without even thinking twice. Everything inside is great - the displays on the ground, the underground observatory, 4D movie (oceanarium - i think they charge extra for it) that delivers the history of the place (very recommended experience -... This is a great stop to get an idea of how beautiful the world is under the waves. The trip to the observatory alone is worth the ticket, especially if you dont SCUBA dive. The other amazing attraction is the giant sea turtles.
