The grotto is shown off to its best and access is very easy. It is amazing to know that there was a rail link through there during WW2. The views are also spectacular.

Before visiting Rosh Haniqra try to contact the site, call the attraction people and inform yourself about the sea level. If the waves are too big, the visit doesn't worth it.

Short cable car ride down to the water's edge where you enter the caves to view how the sea has carved out grottoes. Fruit bats apparently live there but if so, they are hard to see although you can hear the 'chirping' if you listen carefully over the sound of the water crashing against the rock.
