We visited Arugam bay Beach in October 08 - 10th and had a fantastic time. There is so much to do there from the gorgeous white sand beach itself to restaurants on the beach and close by. Nice little town which is popular by surfers. Beautifull mangroves, trips are possible through former hilton guesthouse. Profits go to local community. Wild eliphants, crocs, lots of birds. Recommended. Not the best beach for swimming. Good spot for beginners as well as advanced. More
