“Superb day out on the Bolaven Plateau”

An absolutely incredible place. Little guesthouse resorts, set on coffee farms, on the cliffs above amazing waterfalls! Wonderfull Lao food, and friendly people. A little cooler than the Mekong river valley. Paksong is a small town with not many tourist facilities, but very friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to find an independant driver/guide who took us up to the plateau for the day. The tour went to several waterfalls, a tea plantation and two coffee plantations.
