Well laid out, airy, and fairly cool rooms. Factual information also in English. Found the video labour the women having to leave family to work in Hanoi for a pittance moving.

Great to get a sense of how women played a role as revolutionaries and in the War. Also really interesting exhibits on Motherhood and marriage.

this Museum held more than we expected and it was very informative about the over all life and struggles of the Vietnamese women who work very hard to support their children. the costumes were also displayed well. I found the videos set all throughout the four floors held the most information for me. Worth a visit for an hour or... More

I really enjoyed this musuem. The displays are informative and interesting, with plenty of pictures, video, and displays. There are even some interactive exhibits. I learned things here that I wouldn't learn from other museums or experiences in Hanoi. It's only 30,000 dong, and this place is well worth your money and an hour or two of your time.

No, it is not a misogynist question, but let's face it: how many women's museums have you seen? Well, in Hanoi, I found one. It was during a tour of the city arranged by MinMax Travel, a tour that allowed me to see a lot more interesting things around. The museum displays an impressive history of women, not only in... The women's museum was definitely worth going. very interesting history about Vietnamese women, movies, pictures etc on more than four floors. Entrance was cheap and we definitely recommend to go there!
