We spent a couple of hours in the museum on our first morning in Vietnam. It was a gentle and cheap introduction to some of the older history of the country. Most of the displays had descriptions in English. As many other reviewers have said the highlight is the building itself. Fine for a short visit, but not brilliant. More

This place filled up an hour or so, and is mostly a display of ceramics, wood carvings, champa, and prehistoric art. It's not the most thrilling museum, but coupled with the Museum of Vietnamese Revolution across the road, it filled up a morning. More
