We took a cab to the Sarasin Bridge. This is not too far from the Turtle Mart, Renaissance, JW Marriott, Sala, Anantara, etc. It's a very pretty foot bridge, once built for vehicular traffic and named for a politician. We're staying at the Renaissance which is on this beautiful tranquil beach. No touts just a quiet beach away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. This beach has massage huts along the way and I would recommend the ladies in purple t-shirts. They really do a great job with the massages and are friendly. There are several massage groups...

This is a beautiful west facing stretch of beach. It is dominated by the JW Marriott hotel so it is relatively quiet and free of tacky beach bars you find elsewhere. The surf was very invigorating. Come for the sunset and relax to the balmy breezy.
Pros: Its Quiet Its long and beautiful Excellent spot for sunsets Its Quiet! Cons: The beach is somewhat steep, not the best for walking or running. The sand is course, so bring sandals. The surf is a little rough, so if you are not a good swimmer, stay on the beach.
The title sums this up. Where else can you find mile of mile of endless golden sand that is deserted of people. Absolutely stunning.
compared to kamala beach, it's much nicer . very quite and clean. It would be better if hotel offers beach beds or some umbrellas to relax and a ice cold drinks make your trip perfect.
The sand was beautifully clean and there were no rocks or coral in the water. The waves were a reasonable size and the undertow not too bad. A fabulous beach for swimming and playing in the waves!
Beautiful clean beach, like sitting in a Travel Agents brochure. A must to make time to sit, swim and enjoy.
No Rocks No coral--It was perfect. Quiet not much surf and a few beach food shacks near the Marriott
