Even though our business has seen tremendous growth, we have decided that this small class size maintains the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. Yui (Siripen Sriyabhaya), Thailand's international TV chef still teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality of instruction. Her expertise attracts a variety of students such as, TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary school teachers, international Thai cooking instructors, food columnists, cookbook authors, tourists, and food lovers.Yui's unique blend of art and science truly make cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. When students cook these delicious dishes in class, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to recreate these dishes at home. « less

I don't have words to describe how amazing is this cooking class in Chiang May. Yui is a great teacher and person! The home atmosphere of the class makes you feel good to learn a lot of tricks and delicious dishes of the Thai food. I don't know the others cooking classes in Thailand, but this one I can certify,... More

We were very pleased with our choice to take a cooking class at A Lot of Thai during our stay in Chiag Mai. There are a lot of classes offered there but a friend had recommended this class because of the sensible format and the dynamic chef/teacher. He was right. We started the morning cooking ...all the ingredients were prepped... More

Spent the day with Yui and learned to make a few Thai dishes. It was like being on a cooking show, with excellent instruction and ample ingredients. At the end a cookbook is given. The time visiting the local market was interesting as well. Truly a great experience with Yiu and her passion for Thai food.

This is my second time cooking with Yui and I just loved it. She is so passionate about Thai fresh ingredients and cooking them to perfection and I learnt so much from her. She is a wealth of knowledge and generously shares this with her fellow cooks. Her stories about her life and growing up are just wonderful to hear... More

Booking this class, I truly didn't know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised! The environment was great at her home. All dishes were delicious and easy to learn; I have been able to recreate them since I have been back. Yui is a fantastic teacher and extremely entertaining and genuine. Highly recommended, enjoy. :) Sawadeeka

I enjoyed a deliciously delectable day at the A Lot Of Thai Cooking School with celebrity chef Yui. Her home on Kampoon Road is a testament to the person she really is. Like her cooking, she is a complex blend of the old and new Thailand. Steeped in a past that has its humble beginnings as a farmer, she relentlessly... More

Amazing day with Yui and no better way to discover Thai food. Smooth pick up/drop off to our hotel. We took the day course and made 6 dishes from scratch. We were 7 and she never takes large groups. We all cook the same dishes although she will do variations for vegetarian or vegan participants. Yui cooks first, we taste... More

We chose this course because of the high reviews on trip advisor. Well they aren't misleading! This course is amazing. The tutor Yui is inspirational. Her English is fluent and not once does she make you feel unwelcome in her home. 10/10 for hygiene and equipment. Great value for money- you won't regret doing this course! One word- YUM! Don't... I went to this class to gain knowledge of thai ingredients and cooking style, which is exactly what I got! My partner did not want to go to the class, so I went by myself and met other great people for the day! Much of the basic food prep was done before we arrived, which is a nice bonus. We... More

We spent the day in a small class of 9 students in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. Yui is an outstanding teacher who was able to impart her love of cooking on us. The recipes she teaches cover the range of Thai dishes. She gives personal insights and practical tips along the way, all supported by her cookbook... More
