After being in Bangkok for 4 days, I can't even begin to explain how wonderful it was to just bike through the back roads. I saw more roosters and stray dogs than cars and tuk tuks! No temples but I saw enough of that in Bangkok. I just wanted to see the farmlands and the local lifestyle. Our tour guide... More

We had a great time on our bike tour around Chiang Mai. Our guide was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable about all the places we stopped at. The favorite part of the tour was stopping at a local elementary school where we got to teach the kids English words and they in turn taught us Thai words. Very rewarding to... More

my wife and I really enjoyed The Colors of Chiang Mai tour -- it was the perfect retreat out of the city. Really liked getting a behind the scenes look at life in Chiang Mai, especially the bakery tour. More

We made the trip two years ago. Than it was exellent and also this year we made the trip again and we enjoyed it very much. It was a little bit different than the first time. It is a nice break in the holliday and easy to do. We sea different things and no temples, that you can see enough... More

In the past years we did already 2 times a cycling day tour with Chiang Mai Biking. This year me and my brother decided to do a 3 day cycling tour (about 50 km per day) last February with them to Doi Saket-San Kamphaeng-Bo Sang-Chiang Mai.The route was well planned and during the tour we visit a.o. little villages, factories (candy, silver, wood, umbrella, silk),orphanage, school, temples. The accommodations... We chose to do a bike tour with Chiang Mai Biking because we wanted to do something off the beaten track and this tour met that aim perfectly. Unfortunately we did this tour over the New Year holiday which meant that a lot of the things that you would normally visit were closed however we still cycled through quiet green... More

This was my least favorite bike tour that I did in South East Asia. The one thing and only thing that we loved on this tour was the visit to the school. Not worth the money or the time. More

Dear "beachverysoon", Thanks for your review. As we've replied to your travel-partner "holiday-vacay's" review already, we don't have anything to add. Thanks & regards, Fokke van Egmond More

A very late review I am afraid, since we were there last year, but reminded by my 13 year old of what a lovely time we had. I have 5 children and we have done cycling in many places across the world. This was the best. Why? It was low key and unpretentious but the bikes were good and the... More

We have done a number of bike tours and this one was by far the most expensive and the least interesting/scenic. This one cost approx $75 dollars for a HALF day.... The most we have experience in comparable tours is $35 for full day, 2 meals and pickup/dropoff. Other than the crazy price, the places we saw were so random!... More

Dear "Holiday-Vacay", Thanks for your the effort of writing a review. We are always happy when our guests give us some feedback, positive and negative, we will do something with the input, unless the comments doesn't make any sense. Strongly recommend you take a leisurely cycle around Chang Mai countryside, seeing paddy fields, temples, potter, former leper colony, bakery, sweet factory and an orphanage. Also great trying all the food! Great value for money trip that gives you a better insight into how the Thais live and work. More
